Goals for Good
As Fans Cheer Goals, Andrea Jaeger Launches Goals for Good
Andrea Jaeger and Little Star Foundation aim to turn soccer goals scored in iconic soccer tournaments into support for children with cancer and children in need.
SANTA ROSA BEACH, FL / June 2nd, 2026—Little Star Foundation, the award-winning children’s charity founded by former world No. 2 tennis pro Andrea Jaeger, is launching Goals for Good, an innovative and interactive fundraising campaign that transforms goals scored during this summer’s biggest international men’s soccer tournament into support for children facing cancer and hardship.
Here’s the idea behind Little Star Foundation’s Goals for Good: contributors pick a dollar amount they want to pledge for every goal scored during the tournament. This can be any amount, from one dollar, five dollars, ten dollars, or however much feels right. Then, during the globally watched soccer games, goals showing up on the scoreboard become real support for children with cancer and children in need – across the United States and around the world, thanks to each donor’s contribution.
“My Father taught me how to play soccer as a small child before I ever learned tennis. I joined a traveling boys’ soccer team and loved every minute of it. Soccer has been part of my life since I was a kid, and so has helping children in need. Goals for Good brings those two things together, love of soccer and love of helping children. Whether you’re watching from your home, office, or the sidelines anywhere, every goal becomes a chance to do something positive and important in the life of a child.”
– Andrea Jaeger, President of Little Star FoundationHow Goals for Good Works
To donate and participate is simple: contributors visit www.littlestar.org or go to the QR code and choose their per-goal pledge. Givers then know their pledge is improving lives while they and children worldwide are cheering for goals. The tournament runs from June 11 through July 19, 2026. Donors are billed twice: once at halftime on June 30th and again when the tournament wraps on July 19th. Goals scored will be announced in the media daily since this is a globally watched event by billions of people. Goal totals will also be provided daily on www.littlestar.org.
Schools, companies, and community groups are encouraged to pledge together. Individuals and organizations can team up, set a shared goal, and have fun while making an impact.
A Legacy of Giving
For more than four decades, Little Star Foundation has provided emergency care, financial support, educational opportunities, essential resources, and play opportunities to children facing serious illness and hardship. Andrea Jaeger reached No. 2 in the world at age 16 and donated her entire professional tennis earnings to help children in hospitals, schools, and communities worldwide. She is the first woman to receive the Jackie Robinson Humanitarian Award, recognizing dedication, compassion, sacrifice, and a deep commitment to human welfare.
Built to Grow
Goals for Good doesn’t end with the men’s tournament. The campaign continues in 2027 with the women’s major international soccer tournament. Every tournament becomes another chance for fans to turn passion for the sport into help for kids.
“Every goal scored this summer is a chance to help a child,” said Jaeger. “And this is just the beginning.”
